Publisher Accounts
Publisher role in Epom Ad Server is designed for creating, editing, and deleting the sites, zones, and placements
The Default roles set contains the following types of roles for publishers: regular Publisher, Self-Serve Publisher, and Statistics Publisher.
Publisher
The default Publisher role is designed for creating, editing, and deleting the publisher's own sites, zones, and placements.
By default, this account type has access to the following tabs:
- The Dashboard tab. In this tab publisher can see the current widgets and add new ones.
- The Publishers tab contains all the websites where they show ads and allows the publisher to manage them.
- The Analytics tab allows running reports on ad serving activity.
- The Preferences tab allows managing account settings, i.e. changing credentials and password, sharing access to the websites, etc.
Self-Serve Publisher
The Self-Serve Publisher account type gives publishers the opportunity to manage their own site(s), zones, and placements. The key difference of this account type is that Self-Serve Publishers can choose advertisers they would like to serve among those which are shared with them.
- The Dashboard tab. In this tab publisher can see the current widgets and add new ones.
- The Publishers tab contains all the websites where they show ads and allows the publisher to manage them.
- The Advertisers tab allows Self-Serve Publishers to view all the information regarding the advertisers shared to them including all the advertisers' campaigns, banners, targeting, capping, and limitations. Based on this information Self-Serve Publishers can choose those Advertisers that are most suitable for a certain ad campaign and to set the pricing model for them.
- The Analytics tab allows running reports on ad serving activity.
- In the Shares tab Self-Serve Publishers can see which of the sites shared with them are shared to other user accounts.
- The Preferences allows managing account settings, i.e. changing credentials and password, sharing access to websites, etc.

A user with this account type has access to the following tabs:
- The Dashboard tab. In this tab publisher can see the current widgets and add new ones.
- In the Publishers tab Publishers with Statistics can see the sites shared with them as well as all zones and placements associated with these sites. However, none of the entities can be added, modified, or deleted.
