Inventory Sharing

The Inventory Sharing functionality provides the option to share Sites along with permissions to view or edit them.

Site Sharing

There are two ways to share your Sites with others:

  • Directly from the Site page (useful when sharing several Sites).
  • From the Shares tab (more convenient for mass sharing).

To share a certain Site:

  1. Log into your network account and go to the Publishers tab.
  2. Navigate to the page of the Site you would like to share.
  3. Expand the Sharing Settings pane if it is enclosed:
  4. Fill in the Username of the user you would like share the Site to, and specify the Sharing Type:
    • Is Owner - user will become the Site's owner with permissions to manage all the preferences for it.
    • Can Edit - user will be able to modify the Site settings in his account.
    • Can View - user can only view the settings and statistical information related to the site.
  5. Click to add a new Share. A corresponding entry will appear in the list.To remove an entry, select it in the list and click .

Note!

Network Supervisor should set the Share permission of the Inventory Management section to ALL in the User Roles & Permissions section of the Network Supervisor account. This will make the Shares tab visible to the users of the given user role.

Multiple Sites Sharing

In order to share multiple Sites with multiple users, it is more convenient to use the Shares tab.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your network account and go to the Shares tab. Make sure that you are in the Inventory Sharing subtab:
  2. Select the Site(s) you would like to share in the Inventory Filter:
  3. Select the User(s) in the User Filter:
  4. Specify the Sharing Type and click Share.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes. The corresponding entries will appear in the list on the bottom of the page.

To remove existing entries, press Control on your keyboard, select all the items you would like to be deleted and click

Note!

Inventory Filter and User Filter panes are both a filtering tool and a selection mechanism. To view all entries, unselect all items in these filters.

Statistics Account for Publisher

In order to let your publishers know how well their website inventory is monetised, you can create Publisher with Statistics accounts for them with the option to view their Sites. To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your network account and go to the Publishers tab.
  2. Navigate to the Site you would like to share and click .
  3. The Create Statistic Account window will appear:
  4. Fill in the details:
    • Username - an account name which will be used to log into the Statistics account.
    • Email - an email with credentials for Statistics account will be sent to the address specified in this field.
    • Role - account role. Please select Statistics Account for Publisher.
  5. Click Save. Statistics account will be created and the letter with credentials will be sent to the specified email address.

Please note that the emails are sent right away, but it might take up to one hour for the email to be delivered depending on the user's mail service.
