Advertiser Accounts

Advertiser role in Epom Ad Server gives an opportunity to create, edit, and delete the user’s own ad serving campaigns.

The Default roles set contains the following types of roles for advertisers: regular Advertiser, Self-Serve Advertiser, and Statistics Advertiser.

Advertiser

An account with the default Advertiser role gives an opportunity to create, edit, and delete the user's own ad serving campaigns.

By default, an Advertiser has access to the following tabs:

  • The Dashboard tab. In this tab the Advertiser can see the current widgets and add new ones.
  • The Advertisers tab allows users to create new advertisers, campaigns and banners, as well as allowing them to edit their existing ones. Also, the Advertiser can set the pricing, manage targeting and limitation options, and apply optimization to their campaigns and banners.
  • The Analytics tab allows Advertisers to run regular reports on their ad serving activity.
  • The Actions tab allows Advertisers to view the Actions available for the ads.
  • The Templates tab allows Advertisers to view Templates that are shared with them.
  • The Preferences tab allows the management of account settings, i.e. changing credentials and password, sharing access to ad campaigns, etc.

Self-Serve Advertiser

In addition to campaign management, Self-Serve Advertiser can choose publishers who will serve ads among those which are shared to his account.

By default, this account type has access to the following tabs:

  • The Dashboard tab. In this tab the Advertiser can see the current widgets and add new ones.
  • The Publishers tab contains all the available websites where the Advertiser can show ads and allows them to manage their ad serving.
  • The Advertisers tab allows users to create new advertisers, campaigns and banners, as well as allowing them to edit their existing ones. Also, the Advertiser can set the pricing, manage targeting and limitation options, and apply optimization to their campaigns and banners.
  • The Analytics tab allows Advertisers to run regular reports on their ad serving activity.
  • In the Shares tab a Self-Serve Advertiser can see his sites and advertisers, and can choose to share them with others.
  • The Templates tab allows Self-Serve Advertiser to view the available templates, edit them and add the new ones.
  • The Preferences allows the management of account settings, i.e. changing credentials and password, sharing access to ad campaigns, etc.

Statistics Advertiser

Advertiser with Statistics account type is designed to review statistical information regarding ad campaigns.

A user with this account type has access to the following tabs:

  • The Dashboard tab. In this tab advertiser can see the current widgets and add new ones.
  • In the Advertisers tab users can see the shared advertisers as well as all campaigns and banners associated with them. However, neither of the entities can be added, modified or deleted.
  • The Actions allows you to view the Actions available for the ads.
  • The Analytics tab allows to run reports on the ad serving activity on the advertisers shared to your account.
  • The Preferences tab allows you to manage your account settings, i.e. change your personal data and password.

Users with the role Statistics Account for Advertiser are able to review statistical information regarding their own banners via Statistical Account.
